Crash Closes Westbound I-90 Between Eyota & Rochester Exits

Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash has closed a portion of westbound Interstate 90 in Olmsted County.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) announced the closure shortly before 9:45 Tuesday morning.

Very little information is available as of 10:15 Tuesday morning.

Westbound I-90 Closed Between Eyota and Rochester Exits Due to Crash

Westbound I-90 is closed between Hwy. 42 and Hwy. 52. Only emergency vehicles are allowed to pass through.

Westbound drivers are being diverted off the interstate at Hwy. 42. From there drivers are being routed to Hwy. 52 via Hwy. 14.

Details regarding the crash are not yet available. MnDOT indicates the State Patrol is at the scene.

MnDOT is anticipating the closure to end by 2:00 Tuesday afternoon.
