At Least 3 Motorcyclists Injured in Southeast Minnesota Crashes on Sunday Afternoon
Undated (KROC-AM News)- There were at least three injury crashes involving motorcycles in southeast Minnesota on Sunday.

All three of the crashes happened during the afternoon. The State Patrol responded to the crashes in Goodhue, Fillmore and Wabasha Counties.
Mayo One Helicopter was requested at the scenes of two of the three motorcycle crashes. None of the crashes involved a second vehicle.
Dover Man Injured in Fillmore County Motorcycle Crash
Sunday’s first motorcycle crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. It occurred along Hwy. 30 between Rushford and Chatfield.
73-year-old Matthew Richard Keefe of Dover was operating the motorcycle west on the two-lane highway when it left the road and crashed, the state crash report says.
Keefe was taken to a hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says.
Mayo One Helicopter, the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Lanesboro Fire and EMS also responded to the scene.
Twin Cities Motorcyclist Taken to Hospital Following Crash Near Busy Goodhue County Intersection
The area’s second motorcycle crash was reported about seven minutes later at a busy intersection in Goodhue County. A southbound motorcycle on Hwy. 316 crashed in the area of the road's intersection with Hwy. 61 near Hastings.
31-year-old Benjamin Robert Young of St. Louis Park was identified as the operator. He was taken to a hospital in Red Wing with non-life-threatening injuries.
Young was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.
The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office and Red Wing Fire and Ambulance also responded to the crash.
Mayo One Helicopter Responds to Motorcycle Crash Near Wabasha, Illinois Man Hurt
Sunday’s third southeast Minnesota motorcycle crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. about nine miles west of Wabasha.
32-year-old Goutham Balu Narayanan was traveling east on Hwy. 60 when the motorcycle he was operating left the road and crashed near the highway’s intersection with Wabasha County Rd. 86.
The Naperville, IL man was taken to a Rochester hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was also wearing a helmet and was not under the influence of alcohol, according to the state crash report.
Mayo One, the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Police Department and Wabasha Fire and Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the crash scene.
