Hayfield, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was involved in an injury crash this morning in Dodge County.

The State Patrol says the 77-year-old man was driving an SUV that collided with a semi-truck at an intersection along Highway 56 shortly before 11 AM. The crash occurred at the junction of Highway 56 and 750th Street about a mile south of Hayfield.

The SUV was traveling on 750th Street, while the semi-truck was northbound on Highway 56 when the collision occurred.

The names of the Rochester man and the 61-year-old St. Charles man driving the truck have not been released. The extent of their injuries is also unknown, although the State Patrol report indicates a Mayo Clinic helicopter was sent to the site of the crash.
