
Thousands of Gallons Spilled in Rochester-Area Milk Truck Crash

Oronoco, MN (KROC-AM News)- A milk truck crash resulted in the spilling of thousands of gallons of milk in Olmsted County.

That’s according to Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin. The crash happened early Monday morning and the milk truck was the only vehicle involved.

Truck Spills Nearly 5,000 Gallons of Milk After Crashing in Oronoco, MN
Parkin says deputies responded to the crash in the 7500 block of County Road 158 Northwest in Oronoco around 1:45 Monday morning.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates the truck entered the ditch then turned onto its side. An estimated 4,700 gallons of milk spilled at the crash site, Parkin said.
The driver reported not being injured from the crash, the sheriff’s office says. Their name has not been released.
Parkin says members of the Olmsted County Highway Department responded to the scene to contain and clean up the milk spill.
