New Prague, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota man lost his life to an ATV crash over the weekend.

The fatality occurred early Sunday morning. The vehicle involved was a three-wheel ATV. 

A news release issued Sunday by the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the report of the accident around 2:05 a.m. The crash was reported along County Rd. 121, about six miles west of New Prague.

The preliminary investigation indicates the ATV was heading north on County Rd. 121 when the operator lost control of the vehicle causing it to roll. Responding deputies located the operator laying in the road with the ATV partially on top of him.

He was identified as 33-year-old Matthew James Soller of New Prague. First responders removed Soller from under the vehicle and began life-saving measures but he was pronounced dead at the scene. 

It appears he was not wearing a helmet, the news release says. The deadly crash is under investigation.
