Royalton, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash involving a large ice fishing house.

The deadly incident was reported shortly after 10:30 Sunday night on Highway 10 in Morrison County near Royalton, about 20 miles north of St. Cloud. The State Patrol says the motorcyclist was headed east and crashed into the back of the ice fishing house, which was being towed by a pickup truck.

The preliminary crash report indicates the motorcycle driver was thrown off the motorcycle and struck a median pillar, resulting in fatal injuries.

The State Patrol also reported that an eastbound car then collided with a motorcycle after it came to rest on the roadway.

The deceased motorcyclist was identified as 27-year-old Hunter Meister of Sauk Rapids. The other drivers involved in the incident were not hurt.
