Family members of the mother and son say they have not heard from them since Tuesday. The state agency issued the alert on Thursday afternoon.

The missing person bulletin says three-year-old Jace Lafave and his mother, 32-year-old Breanna Larsen were last seen leaving a family residence in Hinckley in a vehicle on Tuesday.

Authorities say the child’s father, 34-year-old Rande Benson, is believed to be traveling with the Hinckley residents.
