Pedestrian Killed at Minnesota Intersection Identified
Brooklyn Park, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed Sunday evening while crossing a busy street in the Twin Cities.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office says 78-year-old Cuc Thi Tran of Chatsworth California died from multiple blunt force injuries.
Police in Brooklyn Park say she was struck by a vehicle at an intersection where a busy commercial area transitions into a residential neighborhood.
The California woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators from the Brooklyn Park Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
