Reward Offered in Case of Missing Cannon Falls Area Woman
Randolph, MN (KROC-AM News) - A $5000 reward is being offered in the case of a missing southeastern Minnesota woman.
The Dakota County Sheriff's Office today announced the award for information concerning the whereabouts of Nicole Anderson. The rural Randolph woman has not been seen since the morning of July 6 when she walked away from her residence.
The 56-year-old woman left without her phone, wallet, glasses, and medication. She has been described by authorities as a vulnerable individual.
Anderson is described as white, 5-10, 135 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. When she left her home on July 6 she was wearing a long gray sweater, and camouflage pants.
About a week after her disappearance, the Dakota County Sheriff's Office issued a statement that reported the arrest of a man described as a "person of interest" in the case. He was identified as her boyfriend.

At the time, the Sheriff's Office stated that he had been questioned about Anderson's disappearance after a search warrant was executed at his residence in Randolph. He had been taken into custody on an outstanding warrant issued by Le Sueur County.
As of today, the 42-year-old man is no longer in custody. Officials also stressed, at the time of his arrest, that he was not being held on any criminal charges connected to his girlfriend's disappearance.
