Rochester Man Charged With Disseminating Child Pornography
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been accused of disseminating child pornography.
A criminal complaint was filed Friday against 20-year-old Donnie Ray Reece III in connection with an investigation launched by the Rochester Police Department in mid-October. The court document says local investigators received a cyber tip involving two files of suspected child sexual abuse material.
IP Address and User Name Traced to Rochester Man
The charges against Reece state the files were uploaded to the Discord messaging platform the previous month. The cyber tip included an IP address, and Discord provided an email address and username that investigators used to link the uploads to an address and phone number associated with Reece.

According to the criminal complaint, a search warrant was executed at Reece’s address last Thursday. Officers involved in the search reported that Reece answered a knock at the door and then attempted to retreat back into the house after being advised of the search warrant. The officers said Reece had to be taken to the ground and handcuffed.
Disturbing Allegations
Reece is accused of sending at least two sexually explicit images of children using Discord and told investigators he found the images on a file-sharing site. It is alleged one of the images sent by Reece depicted a young girl, approximately 7 to 9 years old. The other image allegedly depicted an infant girl being sexually assaulted by two adult males.

Reece is charged with one count each of dissemination and possession of child pornography. He was released without bail following his arraignment last Friday.
