Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man and woman have been charged in connection with a drug bust executed by Rochester police last week.

According to court documents, Rochester police executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of 11th Avenue Northwest on August 27. Investigators reported finding a large quantity of methamphetamine, along with some fentanyl and multiple scales.

The criminal complaints filed in the case indicate the methamphetamine was discovered in a shopping bag and weighed more than 105 grams. The search also led to the discovery of more than $2,500 in cash and four cell phones.

Two residents, 35-year-old Harun Ali Abdulle and 21-year-old Kyra Madison Bjerke of Rochester, were taken into custody. Abdulle is charged with one count each of first-degree drug sales and first-degree drug possession, while Bjerke is facing a first-degree drug possession charge.

Bail for Abdulle was set at $100,000. Bjerke has conditional bail of $5,000.
