Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 43-year-old Rochester woman has been charged with being a drug dealer.

The criminal complaint filed against Vanna Thouk says she was arrested last Wednesday after the Rochester Police Department executed a search warrant at her residence in the 1100 block of East Center Street. The search was conducted after she was seen leaving the residence in a white Dodge Dart, which was pulled over by police nearby.

The court document indicates Thouk admitted to the officers that she had "stuff" in a black bag that was in her possession. The charges allege the bag contained 11 fentanyl pills and a bag of suspected methamphetamine.

The criminal complaint says the search of her residence also resulted in the seizure of a pill bottle and a cloth zip up bag. Both items contained a substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Altogether, investigators seized approximately 65 grams of meth during the drug bust.

The court document notes that the investigation into Thouk began after police received a tip that she was selling drugs out of a white Dodge Dart. The search warrant was obtained after investigators conducted surveillance and witnessed what were termed "short-term transactions indicative of controlled substance sales."

Thouk was arraigned Friday in Olmsted County Court on one count of first-degree drug sales, one count of first-degree drug possession, and fifth-degree drug possession. She was released without bail and was ordered to return to court for an evidentiary hearing in April.
