Southeast Minnesota Woman Hurt in Crash With Trailer
Rushford, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rushford woman was hospitalized following a collision involving a trailer in Fillmore County Monday afternoon.
The State Patrol responded to the crash along Hwy. 43 in Rushford Village. The collision happened shortly after 4:45 p.m.
The state crash report indicates an SUV and pick-up, which was towing the trailer, collided as the vehicles were heading south on the two-lane highway. The SUV driver, identified as 62-year-old Alison Gay Kjos, suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
She was taken to a nearby hospital for further care. The pick-up driver, identified as 32-year-old Andy A Swartzentruber of Mabel, and a 12-year-old boy from Mable riding with him were not hurt.
The state report says alcohol was not involved and that everyone in the crash was buckled up. The Rushford Fire Department and Rushford Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle collision.
