Deputies responded to the body discovery at the intersection of River Bluff Ln. and West River Rd. shortly before 4:30 p.m. The caller reported walking her dog when the dog led her off the road into a ditch where she reportedly saw an arm sticking out of the snow.

Schueller said the BCA also responded to the body discovery due to the weather conditions and nature of the crime scene. The investigation is being described as active and Schueller said the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Investigation Division is working to establish a timeline and other facts related to the body discovery.
