(UPDATE) Winona Police Are Looking For Missing Woman’s Minivan
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - Police in Winona have released some additional information concerning the disappearance of Madeline Jane Kingsbury.
The 26-year-old Winona woman was last seen leaving her home in Winona last Friday morning. She failed to work at her job in Rochester and did not pick up her children from daycare Friday afternoon. Winona Police note she did not make arrangements for her children and numerous calls and messages from family and friends were not answered.
The investigation into her disappearance has led authorities to believe a minivan matching the description of Kingsbury's 2014 dark blue Chrysler Town and Country minivan was seen traveling between Winona and the eastern part of Fillmore County on Friday. Officials in both counties are asking residents and property owners in eastern Fillmore County to check their properties for any sign of the minivan.
Investigators are also asking people in that area to check their security, doorbell, and other cameras for signs of the minivan traveling past or stopping, along with signs of a disturbance or anything suspicious. Winona Police are especially interested in a timeframe of 8 AM Friday through 4 PM on Saturday in areas along Highway 43.
Anyone with information that could prove useful in the investigation to contact Winona Police at 507-457-6288.
