Nice Snow Totals From Across Minnesota Yesterday
Following what was the least snowy January on record for most of the southern half of Minnesota, some areas in the central part of the state picked up measurable accumulation Wednesday.
The three to four week outlook for February from the NOAA (National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration) is calling for normal to slightly above normal chance of snow this month. Depending where you are in the state, 'normal' ranges from 7 or 8 inches in the southern region, to a foot in the north.
In the short-term, there's a Winter Storm Watch for late Friday night through Saturday, with .5 to 8 inches of snow possible.
