Amazing Rochester, MN Business Just Closed One Of Its Locations

The landscape in Rochester, Minnesota is changing. Legacy Toys just shuttered its Med City shop a few weeks ago. Last week we learned that a bridal shop was also planning to close its store in NE Rochester.

Sadly, another storefront is now sitting empty in the downtown Rochester area.

Last week, I was driving along Broadway and noticed that one of my favorite new buildings was looking a little bit different. By "different", I mean "empty".

New Spin, a bicycle and disc golf shop that has two locations in the Med City, has emptied its store location at 401 N. Broadway Ave. Suite 150.

On its door at this downtown Rochester location, it also had a note that said the following:

Dear Friends, With great sadness, this location is currently closed. Low sales $ have resulted in ongoing monthly losses. We are working with community members on creative ideas to help activate our beautiful shop. If you have ideas or are looking for space, we would love to chat! We hope to see you at our North location which is healthy and growing. Our friendly team is ready to serve all your bicycle needs...and disc golf too. To our customers, we appreciate you!
