Looks Like A Popular Minnesota Store Is Already Sporting Christmas
Right now, we are in back-to-school season. I know because I just spent $50 on notebooks, pens, and mechanical pencils. (Apparently, we don't use the yellow pencils that you have to sharpen by yourself at our house anymore. I did not get that memo until this weekend.)
I repeat - It is back-to-school season.
Some stores are trying to skip this season...like Costco. That big box store is trying to speed things up by throwing a giant skeleton popping up out of the ground in the aisles to scare us half to death while we are shopping. The scream coming from the animatronic next to it is a joyful surprise as I'm looking at hoodies. And while I did see a little bit of the red and green holiday trying to take over, it was pretty contained still at the massive warehouse store. It is NOT contained at another store though. In other words, if you aren't ready for Christmas, you probably want to hold off on going there for just a tiny bit.

Christmas Has Exploded Already at a Store in Minnesota
There is a store in Rochester, Minnesota that is so much fun to shop at, mostly because of the unique items they have in stock. Stickers, signs, shirts, jeans, hoodies, hats...so many fun items that are sitting on the shelves. If you ever see someone just randomly taking photos and laughing at Hunt's Silver Lake Drug & Gift, it is probably me. Here are a few of my favorite finds lately:
That sign needs to go in my boys' bathroom.
I took the "Dead Inside But Caffeinated" photo because my daughter hates skulls. Anytime I see a cute one, I text her a pic. I almost bought this shirt though because there are days when this feels like my life. I mean, I AM the Coffee Queen of Minnesota.
...and that coaster is for all of the internet trolls. #YouKnowWhoYouAre
I was a bit shocked though when I was there to pick up some medicine the other day and Christmas appeared to have already exploded in an aisle. According to The Connection, this is called "the Christmas Creep", where Christmas just keeps showing up earlier and earlier. I'm not mad about it but it was July when I saw ornaments in a store...and that just seemed a tad early to have all of the Hallmark Christmas ornaments out. Just saying.
Have you spotted Christmas at stores in Minnesota already?
I've heard that Hobby Lobby has Christmas up, Costco is dipping its toes in just a tad, but what other stores are celebrating Christmas already? I've been in a radio studio lately and not shopping much so let me know what you are seeing out in the world and chat with me on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.
