Doritos’ Latest Recall in the United States Shows Alarming Trend

I know have some trust issues with a very popular product sitting on store shelves throughout the United States, including in Minnesota.  Another recall has been issued for a product not being labeled correctly and unfortunately, this is putting many individuals at risk.

Companies need to get their crap together because those of us with severe allergies are getting angry.  Ok, it might just be me but since July 18th, 2023, there have been 6 recalls posted on the FDA.gov website due to allergens that weren't labeled on products.

I understand mistakes happen but if you scroll through the entire list and go back even further, this seems to be more of the norm.

As someone who has a tongue swell up within hours of ingesting soy, this is a problem.  For some individuals that have life-threatening reactions, this is a potential lawsuit for companies.  You need to fix this before you put another product on store shelves.

Dorito's latest recall is only impacting Pennsylvania retail locations and vending machines at the moment, and hopefully this recall will only be contained to that area.  If it expands, which sometimes these do, I will have an update over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.  If you live in that area or traveled recently and grabbed a bag of Doritos, here's what you need to know:

• Products Recalled: 14.5 oz and 1 oz Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips.  See what UPC numbers and manufacturing codes were impacted by this voluntary recall at the FDA.gov website.
• Reason for Recall: product may contain soy and wheat ingredients and was not included on the label
