For the 5th year in a row, Super Herber Bros Foundation is helping crush Koopas and childhood cancer at the annual Markokart Tournament.  Since the tournament started, over $75,000 has been raised through this tournament to help with cancer research, cancer survivors and their families, as well as scholarships for pediatric nursing.

YOUR registration for the tournament helps with all of that and it is so important because only 4% of federal research dollars go to childhood cancer.  Although that number is devasting, this number should shock you...childhood cancer bankrupts 20% of families.  In fact, this could have easily been my family.  My sister was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 10 years old and I remember my family storing the bills in multiple garbage bags in our living room.  The cost of childhood cancer is overwhelming and one that many families can't afford.  Your registration in the Markiokart tournament can help those families.  And who knows, just by signing up YOU could win a free Nintendo Switch by taking 1st place in the tournament.

Everything You Need To Know About the Markiokart Tournament in Southeast Minnesota

• Date:  September 9th, 2023
• Time: 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm
• Where: Mayo Civic Center, Rochester, Minnesota
• What to Expect:  Mariokart tournament will have a kids and adult division.  If you aren't playing in the tournament, there is fun for you too!  This year, more games are being added for everyone to participate in, music, food, drinks, prizes, as well as a silent auction.
• Cost:  $30 for those who are wanting to participate in the tournament.  A free will donation will be available at the door.

If you'd love to just come and watch someone compete, you do NOT need to pay that registration fee.  There will be a bunch of fun waiting for everyone to keep you entertained as well...so join in, cheer on your favorites, and have a great time at the event.
