The Last Staples Store In Minnesota Is Closing For Good
Remember those red buttons that were all the rage for a bit that said, "That was easy!"? I have one at my house. Staples sold this popular item in 2005 and over 1 million people put it in their cart and brought it home. Unfortunately, the chain has slowly left the great state of Minnesota and I just heard that the last store is closing soon.

According to the Star Tribune, back in 2015, there were 5 Staples stores in the Twin Cities area. You could drive to Woodbury, Roseville, Bloomington, Minnetonka, or Apple Valley in that area to pick up school supplies, office supplies, or one of those easy buttons when they were in stock.
There were several Staples locations throughout the state of Minnesota but today, there is only one. And according to Kare11, that lone Staples store is closing in March.

When is the Staples Store in Minnetonka, Minnesota Closing?
If you drive by, you'll notice large, white signs on the doors that indicate the store is closing on March 14th, 2025. Another sign nearby informs shoppers that the company is still there for them and shopping can still be done online.
The signage about shopping online reminded me of when Bed Bath & Beyond closed stores in Minnesota. The signage around the store and by the cash registers had similar messaging.
