Lemonade Day Is Back in The Rochester Area – Here’s How To Sign Your Kid Up For Free

A tradition that 40% of Baby Boomers had when they were kids is continuing on today.  Thanks to a nationwide event, your kids can sign up for this classic tradition and not just get great tips on how to make more money, but they can get free swag too.

Free Swag Now Available For Kids In The Rochester Area Who Sign Up For The Free Program, Lemonade Day

Having a lemonade stand is a great way for kids to learn how to run their own business.  Based on the latest stats, a child typically makes between $20 to $150 sitting at a stand.

Registration Now Open for Lemonade Day in the Rochester, Byron, and Stewartville Area

If you've got a child that would love to participate in Lemonade Day, registration is free and is now open.

According to the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce website, here are a few details about registration and some upcoming events:

• May 6th - Air Insanity, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Stop by and pick up your swag bags or come to ask questions!  You can also get a free 30 play pass with purchase of a 60 minute pass at Air Insanity during the event.
• May 9th - Rochester Farmers Market, 7:30 am - 12:00 pm
  • Free event!  Sign up for Lemonade Day while you enjoy a stroll through the local Farmers Market.
• May 12th - SPARK Children's Museum, 9:00 am - 11:00 am
  • Pick up your supplies and get started on building your dream business.
• May 16th - Chick-fil-A Miracle Mile Location- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Receive a free lemonade, courteous of Chick-fil-A, when you register or pick-up your Lemonade Day supplies.
• May 20th - Lemon U Workshop with Altra Federal Credit Union, Cascade Meadow - St. Mary's University Rochester, 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
  • Fun afternoon workshop that will focus on learning about financial literacy and entrepreneurship.  This class is for kids ages 7 to 12 years old.  Registration is required.

Lemonade Day's Best Tasting Contest Is Back In 2026

Dial in on your lemonade recipe by getting valuable feedback from local judges at the Best Tasting Contest.  This event is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Rochester Athletic Club on May 31st and is free to participate, but registration is required due to limited space.  E-mail Shannon at sgowen@rochestermnchamber.com to get your name added to the list.
