
Minnesota Just Had Its Moment of Fame (Again) on Jeopardy!
Minnesota is finally getting the positive spotlight it deserves. If you are an avid watcher of Jeopardy!, you may have caught this yourself the other night. (And if you are a true Minnesotan, hopefully you answered the question right!)

An Iconic Destination in Minnesota Was Just Featured On The Popular TV Show 'Jeopardy!'
About 9.2 million people watch the famous TV show, 'Jeopardy!' every night. Right now, it is sitting at the #1 most-watched entertainment program on TV.
The Emmy Award-winning show, hosted by Ken Jennings, is now in its 42nd season and has over 9,000 episodes aired. And during all of those shows, over 538,000 clues have been given to the contestants who have shown up to compete.
If you were watching Jeopardy! the other night as Jamie, Kim, and Bill were behind the podiums with their clickers, a question popped up in the category "U.S.A." that every Minnesotan should have been able to answer without a problem.
Minnesota Was Just Featured In One Of The Latest Jeopardy! Clues
Jeopardy! first debuted on NBC on March 30th, 1964. That original show stayed running until 1975. According to Wikipedia, the show was back on TV in 1978 and 1979 and then was off air until 1984.
Every episode of Jeopardy! since it started up again features 61 different clues. Besides the latest clue about Minnesota (which I'll show you below), our state has been in the spotlight a few other times as well.
