Golf Course in Rochester, Minnesota Opening This Week For The Season

Minnesota might be known for feet of snow during the winter months or for its 10,000 plus lakes, but it is also a hot spot for golfers.  According to Golftime Magazine, about 700,000 residents in the Land of 10,000 Lakes consider golf to be "their" sport.

Thanks to our semi-mild winter, it appears as if one of the golf courses in the Med City is ready to hear you shout "fore".

Soldiers Field Memorial Golf Course in Rochester, Minnesota Opening on Wednesday

The City of Rochester Parks & Recreation Department is spreading the exciting news that one of the city courses is ready for golfers again.  Soldiers Field Memorial Golf Course will open at 11:00 am on March 26th.

Soldiers Field Memorial Golf Course, located at 244 Soldiers Field Dr SW, was established in the 1920s.  Today, it features a classic 18-hold golf course along with two putting and chipping greens
