When Does Minnesota ‘Fall Back’ For Daylight Saving Time in 2024?

But the best part of fall? That magical moment when we set our clocks back and get an extra hour of glorious beauty sleep - ahh, can’t wait!"
Fun fact, Daylight Saving Time (DST) was first introduced in the United States during World War I to conserve coal used for heating homes. It was initially unpopular and quickly abolished. However, it was reinstated in the 1960s and revised in 2005.
While most states still follow DST, some, like Minnesota, are pushing to get rid of the time change altogether. Personally, I'm all for locking the clock and doing away with the biannual time shift. Spring kicks my butt every single year.
Are you ready to grab a hoodie and a blanket, pour some hot cocoa, and settle in for the longer nights?
When Do We Turn Back Our Clocks?
Daylight Saving Time ends on the first Sunday of November. For 2024, that date is November 3rd at 2:00 AM, when clocks will be set back one hour.
