Spring in Minnesota means warmer weather, blooming flowers and plants, and a fresh crop of college graduates all heading out into the job market. And we now know just which college graduates are set to be the highest-paid in Minnesota, thanks to the discipline in which they majored.

These days, finding a job that pays well and offers generous benefits, along with a decent work-life balance, can be tough to do, both here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and across the country.

But there is one important thing you can do to find a job opportunity that will do just that and more: And that's heading to a post-secondary school. According to Patch.com, getting a some type of degree will generally raise your lifetime earning power here in the Bold North considerably. Patch noted:

Graduates from certificate programs employed in Minnesota seven years later earned a median annual wage of $50,588, associate degree holders earned about $5,000 more per year, and earners of bachelor's degrees had an annual median of $66,312, according to state data.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) says, though, that those figures depend on just what area of study that degree is in. They recently published a list of the college majors in Minnesota that earn the highest salaries:
