The retail giant announced that all of its Minnesota locations will be closed on the same day. Yep, every. single. one.

According to their latest press release, this move is part of their holiday scheduling plan.

Before 2020, you could always count on Walmart being open just about every day, practically around the clock. But four years ago, they made a big change, choosing to give their employees a well-deserved break with a full day off. This year, they're sticking with that decision.

Every single Walmart in Minnesota and across the country will be closed all day on Thanksgiving day.

Not gonna lie, I always thought it was pretty ridiculous when stores decided to open on Thanksgiving. Sure, it's convenient to grab something last minute if you really need it. But when they started rolling out those early Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving itself? That’s where they lost me.
