A couple years ago, the guys in my neighborhood drank the alphabet of beers. We got together each Friday for drinks and each week a different neighbor had to supply the beer. The only rule we had was the beer's name had to start with that week's letter. Week 1 was A and so on. We couldn't have done it without Jack's Bottle Shop because they have a huge selection of beers that you can't find in most liquor stores.

I love discovering new beers at Jack's and I am super excited to see that they will be unveiling a new expanded space in a couple of weeks. Find out what to expect when Jack's doubles in size below.

Up until now, Jack's Bottle Shop has been known as a place to buy hard-to-find craft beers, but that's about to change.

Jack's Bottle Shop, located at 909 6th St NW in Rochester, will open a Wine and Spirits Room later this month. They have a special event planned with samples and specials lined up. Read more below.

Jack Lester is the owner of Jack's Bottle Shop and is pretty excited to unveil the new wine and liquor space.

He said, “As we open up and double our space in square footage, this room will allow us to take our current wine and spirit program to the next level. It gives us more room to host special tasting events, educational classes, and a place for us to bring a larger audience into our store.”

A press release sent out on Tuesday explains the new space will stay true to Jack's model and "won't be reminiscent of your typical liquor store, they’ll be carefully curated wines from around the world and a unique collection of spirits."

Guests will see their favorite top shelf brands in the store along with a huge selection of value buys.

A grand opening celebration for the new wine and spirits room is scheduled for Wednesday April 19th at noon with samples and specials planned.
