On July 23rd, KROC-AM reported about a home that was burglarized in Rochester. The burglary happened at a home on the 3400 block of 21st Ave. NW sometime in the early morning hours. Two adults and their grandchildren slept through the entire robbery as thieves made off with several items including a purse, laptop, 65 inch TV, and a signed Joe Mauer jersey.

The Rochester Police Department says a Good Samaritan that knows Joe Mauer saw this news story and immediately contacted the Twins player to ask about a replacement jersey and Joe was more than happy to help! Friday afternoon Sgt. Ryan Manguson from the Rochester Police Department surprised the family with the replacement and a signed baseball.

Props to this Good Samaritan, the RPD, and Joe for doing this and hopefully helping restore this family's faith in humanity.
