After making the decision to retire from skiing this year, Lindsey Vonn is ready to look back and bring us along for the ride.

Her memoir will be called "Rise: My Story" is set to come out in 2020. The book will detail her childhood in Minnesota, learning to ski, her achievements like her World Cup wins and Olympic medals, as well as touch on the injuries she has sustained from the sport she loves.

WCCO reported a statement to Dey Street, an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers, she said she will be “digging deep” into her life and her determination to keep going “up and down the mountains.”

Vonn's decision to retire came after her left LCL that was torn in a training crash last fall at Copper Mountain, Colorado. Her final race was at the World Championship where she took home the bronze. She formerly announced her retirement in February of 2019, and I can't wait to see what this next chapter as an author holds for her!
