Rochester’s Little Thistle Announces New Events to Help Local Non-Profits

Good beer for a good cause? Yes, please! Rochester, Minnesota brewery, Little Thistle Brewing, is doing something good this summer to help out local non-profits, and you can help out too.

A month or two ago, Little Thistle hosted a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood in Rochester. A portion of all proceeds for that night went to Planned Parenthood, Rochester, and the event was a huge success.

Now, they've turned that concept into a weekly occurrence for all sorts of local non-profits.

Little Thistle Helping Non-Profits in Southeast Minnesota

Each Thursday this summer, Little Thistle will be hosting what they're calling Thistle Thursdays.

Each Thistle Thursday, a different local non-profit will be featured to raise awareness for them, and also to raise money for the cause.

So far, they have nearly every Thursday of the summer dedicated to a different non-profit. If you have a non-profit in mind that you'd like to see them support, hit them up!

If this is a huge success, maybe they'll extend this into the fall.

July 3rd - 1-6 PM - American Red Cross Blood Drive

July 10th - 4-8 PM - Jeremiah Program, Rochester

July 17th - 4-8 PM - Family Service Rochester

July 19th - no non-profit selected yet!

July 31st - 4-8 PM - Gift of Life Transplant House

August 7th - 4-8 PM - Pato De Perro

August 14th - 4-8 PM - Alzheimer's Association

August 21st - 4-8 PM - PossAbilities

August 28th - no non-profit selected yet!
