Lois Riess, the 'Killer Grandma'
You likely remember Lois' name because the killing of her husband was such a shock to her community. Her husband, David Riess, was found shot dead in their home in Blooming Prairie on March 23rd, 2018.

At the time, Lois was a suspect in the case, she had been "accused of cashing $11,000" in checks written to herself from her husband's account, and she was on the run.
She was later found in Florida, after apparently making stops at casinos along the way. One surveillance video showed Lois talking to 59-year-old Pamela Hutchinson at a bar in Fort Myers on April 5th, 2018.
Pamela was then found murdered in her hotel room the next day. Lois had befriended Pamela to murder her and then steal her identity and continue to run.
On April 19th, 2018, Lois was finally arrested in South Padre Island, TX.
Now, 6 years later, Lois Riess has sat down to do a documentary about her crimes and also her past.
