Massive Win in Rochester: Scratch Ticket Worth Thousands Sold at Casey’s
According to the Minnesota State Lottery, the odds of winning $50 on a Casino Millions scratch-off ticket are 1 in 6.19. Those are great odds, but the ticket itself costs $50, which means a win would only result in breaking even. As the prize amount increases, the odds of winning become significantly longer.
For instance, the odds of winning $100 are 1 in 20.04, and they decrease to 1 in 608.25 for a $1,000 prize. The lucky ticket sold at a Casey's convenience store in Rochester, Minnesota, overcame 1 in 81,100 odds, and the person who purchased it won a massive prize.
