Where was this feature when I actually had a social life?

Back in the year 2015 B.C. (Before Charlee), my wife and I enjoyed the Rochester night life and were frequent visitors of many of our fine establishments on the weekend.

It's weird that nobody ever mentioned once how both age and babies will change all that? Anyways...

To those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, and also experience some serious late night munchies, there's now a way to end all that - with the new "Taco Mode" from Lyft:

Basically the app activates Taco Mode with the push of a button that allows customers to visit TB on their way home. Some lucky riders will even get free swag and tacos during the limited promotion.

No doubt this is a way to make it less awkward for when you have to ask your Lyft driver to make a quick stop at your local Taco Bell by bribing them with a cheesy gordita crunch of their own. Because, manners!

Now here comes the bad news: We don't get to test it out in Rochester YET. It's currently being tested in Orange County, California, where Taco Bell Headquarters resides.

The collaboration between the two brands will be available this weekend, July 27-29 and again August 3-5 and be open from the hours of 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

So in the meantime, just imagine what could soon be yours the next time you get that late night craving...
