Man Shot in Hunting Accident in Central Minnesota

Swanville, MN (Learfield News Service) - A man is recovering after being shot in a hunting accident near Swanville in central Minnesota.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office says 58-year-old Dustin VanNorman suffered a gunshot wound to lower the body Saturday night from a boy hunting on the same property. VanNorman was taken to the Long Prairie Hospital and later transported by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital.

The incident is still under investigation.
