Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department has issued an invitation to the people involved in a marijuana grow operation found in a Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Management Area just west of Mantorville. Sheriff Scott Rose says investigators had been monitoring the operation all summer using trail cameras and this week decided to remove 60 large marijuana plants and equipment used to cultivate the illegal crop.

The Sheriff is strongly encouraging anyone who believes they may have been recorded by the trail cams to come forward to talk to investigators about the incident and stated more consideration would be granted those who choose to cooperate.

The Sheriff noted an unfortunate aspect of the case is the trespassing and damage to DNR property, which included the removal trees to create a clearing for the pot plants.
