Memorial Fund for Murdered Rochester Girl

A memorial fund is being set up for the young Rochester girl who was shot and killed by her father last Sunday at a home in the Country Club Manor neighborhood.

Police say 9 year old Mackenzie Higgins was visiting her father when she was shot.  He then shot and killed himself.  The fund is being established at U.S. Bank.

The girl’s funeral will be held Monday at Calvary Episcopal Church, beginning at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be held Sunday at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes from 2 - 5 p.m. and one hour prior to Monday’s funeral at the church.
