St Paul (KROC AM News) -  A Minnesota man who was seriously wounded in an officer-involved shooting has died.

The Minnesota BCA reported Wednesday the death of 47-year-old Bradley Erickson.

The BCA is in charge of the investigation of the shooting that involved three officers. It happened Sunday afternoon in Forest Lake, which is north of the Twin Cities.

Officers responded to a call from a person who reported Erickson had violated a court no-contact order and was armed with a gun. He fled when officers arrived but they were able to stop his vehicle. Officers opened fire after Erickson “presented a threat.”

He was given first aid at the scene and taken to the hospital where he died Wednesday.

The BCA says portions of the incident were captured on body-worn cameras and squad cameras.

The three officers who fired their guns are on standard administrative leave while the case is investigated. The BCA has released their names:

  • Forest Lake Police Officer Jonathan Glader has been in law enforcement for 16 years
  • Forest Lake Police Officer Matthew Smith has been in law enforcement for 17 years
  • Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Reiter has been in law enforcement for 26 years
