How to See Who’s On Your Minnesota Primary Ballot Before Voting Today
There are primaries going on across the country today, including in Minnesota. Any time there's a chance to vote it's really important to do so to make sure your voice is heard! It's part of our privilege as Americans, so let's act on it.
But, there are so many people on the ballot! So how in the world are you supposed to figure out who to vote for? I'll tell you how in just a second but first, what's the point of the primaries?

What's the Point of Primary Elections?
It's really important to vote in the primaries because it determines who is on the ballot in November. If there is someone you feel strongly about, make sure to get out and vote for them today to make sure they're an option on the ballot come November.
The Minnesota Secretary of State writes that a primary election "determines which candidates will be on the ballot in the November general election."
How to See Who's On Your Ballot Before Voting
Before you go out to vote, today for the primaries or anytime, it's important to be an informed voter and do your own research to figure out who aligns with your views the best and determine who to vote for.
It's super easy to figure out who is on your ballot. You can search 'what's on my ballot Minnesota' in Google and a link from the Minnesota Secretary of State will pop up.
Once you go to the website, click 'View your sample ballot'. Then fill in where you live so the ballot will give you all of your options on the state level and local level if there's a local election going on.
And that's it! From there you can do a quick Google search on each of the candidates to determine who you want to vote for. Please don't rely on stuff you see on Facebook. Do your own research and I'll see you at the polls today!
