Minnesotan’s 5 Worst Travel Habits Exposed
The big summer travel season is upon us. And even when you're traveling to do something fun, the process of getting there can be a pain, especially when you have to deal with lots of people.
Yes, it can take a lot longer to get somewhere if you're driving instead of flying, but I feel like you're going to encounter a lot more people who could possibly irritate you in the airport/on a plane. And I'm saying this as someone who would much rather fly than do a long road trip!
Throughout your time in the airport and on the plane, you might see some things that will make you shake your head. But don't think we Minnesotans aren't part of the problem.

The States with the Worst Travel Habits
A study was done by the website Solitare Bliss, where they determined the states with the worst travel habits (specifically when flying).

Minnesota is not one of the worst states, however, we did end up right in the middle of the pack.
The states with the worst travel habits are:
5. Texas
4. New York
3. Arkansas
2. California
1. Mississippi
Minnesota's Worst Travel Habits
As for us Minnesotans, I've got the five things that are our worst travel habits as a state. Let's see if you're guilty of any of these.
5. The study says that 14% of Minnesotans have talked loudly on their phone on a plane. Yes, that wouldn't be possible during the flight, but before taking off and after landing, when everyone has their phones on, it's super annoying to hear someone yelling into their phone.
4. 16% of Minnesotans have filmed other passengers. That's so uncomfortable, don't do that!
3. Another 16% of Minnesotans have had too much to drink on a flight. Keep it together, guys, we're in this small enclosed space all together, let's not make it more difficult.
2. 44% of Minnesotans have hung their legs in the aisle. That's a great way to get run over by the snack cart or people trying to use the bathroom.
1. And finally, they say 50% of Minnesotans have left garbage in a seat pocket on a plane. This is the 3rd highest in the entire country!
The only thing that I might be guilty of doing myself is leaving trash in the seat pocket, and the only reason would be because I forgot it there. What about you?
