The Massive Seizure That Could Be Minnesota’s Biggest Ever Drug Bust
Minnesota is finally starting to make progress with the opioid crisis. The Minnesota Department of Health says opioid overdose numbers are finally starting to level off.
Unfortunately, a new threat is exploding. The MDH says overdoses involving meth and cocaine are now on the rise. It's gotten so bad that the FBI told KARE 11 that Minnesota is currently dealing with a full-blown "methamphetamine epidemic."

Meth is a major problem in the state and The Minnesota Department of Corrections' latest numbers prove it. Their latest report shows 77% of everyone locked up for drug offenses as of last July was there because of meth.
A New Record? This Could Be Minnesota's Biggest Drug Bust Ever
It feels like you hear about a drug bust almost every day, as law enforcement agencies across the state work around the clock to shut down this "meth epidemic."
The St. Paul Police Department just shared an update on its Facebook page, highlighting a major bust.
According to the police, "960 pounds of meth were seized in yesterday, and two men are charged with felony drug sales." The massive haul is estimated to have a street value of more than $20 million.
The department thanked all the officers involved in this incredible operation and added, "This might also be the largest drug bust in Minnesota—ever."
