A Coon Rapids man's epic proposal to his girlfriend has gone viral on TikTok for its jaw-dropping creativity, thoughtfulness and view.

Over the weekend, Viktor Byrdan of Coon Rapids asked his girlfriend Angelina to marry him. While many men put time and effort into how and when they propose, it could be said that Viktor's proposal set a high standard for future men to meet. Video shared to TikTok shows just how far he went to impress his future bride-to-be.

@viktorbyrdanI don’t usually ask for anything... but make my love story go viral! ##SheSaidYes ##Proposal♬ Love Story Discolines - ethanishung

The proposal itself took place on a rooftop near Minneapolis with a full view of the city skyline visible in the background. In a radio interview with KDWB Viktor told the morning show the rooftop was in North Minneapolis. In the video, the rooftop can be seen covered in red rose petals; a white carpet is rolled down the middle towards large white letters with bulbs that spell out "Marry Me?" According to Victor, he and his dad hand-built the letters and installed the bulbs themselves. More candles, lanterns, flowers and balloons dot the rooftop for a truly incredible and romantic setting.

"I don't usually ask for anything," the TikTok video's caption reads, "but make my love story go viral!" In just two days, the video has been viewed over 792k times. Photos of the moment were also captured and posted to Viktor's Instagram with the caption "When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

Congrats to the happy couple!
