More Than 200,000 Minnesotans Are Getting a Raise
New minimum wages have been set in Minnesota which means more than 200,000 Minnesotans are getting a raise in 2019. Small businesses are required to pay a minimum of $8.01 an hour which equals $16,660 a year. Large businesses must pay $9.86 an hour which equals $20,508 a year.
The large business wages top the federal minimum wage by more than two and half dollars an hour and rank highest in the Midwest. Wisconsin and Iowa both have a minimum wage of $7.25.
