It's a parent's worst nightmare, and today we are reminded that it can happen to anyone. According to Parents.com, every 40 seconds in the United States, a child becomes missing or is abducted.

Today is National Missing Children’s Day. A day that serves as an "annual reminder to continue efforts to reunite missing children with their families." KARE 11 with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children put together a full list of people that are missing. Some have been missing for days, others decades.

Help us get these children back home to their families. If you think you've seen a missing child, contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children immediately.
