Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near Mankato
Mankato, Mn (KROC-AM News ) - Authorities in the Mankato area are reporting what may be the first fatal motorcycle crash of the season in southern Minnesota.
The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office says a person on a motorcycle was fatally injured Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle collided with a truck pulling a trailer that was headed in the opposite direction on a County Road just north of Mankato. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported around 3:20 p.m.
The name of the victim has not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
