New iPhones Rumored to Come Without ‘Key’ Feature It’s Had Since 2007
About three years ago my wife decided to put us on this "pay-as-you-go" type plan with Apple where you can exchange your iPhone for the latest model every year by turning in your old one. She's way more tech-savvy than me, so I let her do it and suddenly every September I'm excited for what's coming. So if you're like me and maybe looking to upgrade your Apple devices, you may have the chance soon. USA Today is reporting on the latest rumors about Apple’s upcoming releases.
They claim Apple will launch not one, not two, but THREE new iPhones: An upgraded iPhone X, a “high-end” iPhone with a 6.5 inch screen and a less-expensive iPhone with a 6.1 inch screen. Plus among the rumors were that the phone will come in various colors as well. Those colors could include gray, white, blue, red and orange.
Of course, the highest-profile rumors about Apple's upcoming 2018 iPhones are that the three models will all be iPhone X-style, with face recognition and no home button. If true, this means the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were the last new iPhones to have a home button, a signature feature since the device was introduced in 2007! Wow.
Reports have also suggested that we may get a new line of MacBook Air and Apple Watch, plus upgrades to the iPad and Mac Mini. Also coming soon, Apple will also roll out a new version of their AirPods earphones.
Look for all these in stores sometime later this month. However, we may not have to wait long for a sneak peek at all these new devices because the next Apple iPhone event is set for September 12. The event will start at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, (so noon our time,) at the Steve Jobs Theatre.
Experts are expecting to find out more about upgrades (listed above) to every Apple product that’s currently on the market.
What do you think? Will you be one of the many waiting in line waiting for one?
