Marrow’s Empty Downtown Space Has a New Noodle Restaurant Coming
I won't lie, I'm still a little sad about Marrow closing. However, there's some new developments in that building that's making me feel a little bit better.
In case you aren't familiar with what happened to Marrow, they closed very suddenly after being open for about 3 years. In the announcement, the owners said:
As we move through this transition, the Marrow space — including the existing restaurant buildout, infrastructure, equipment, and lease opportunity — will be available for someone interested in carrying the space forward as their own.
And now it appears that someone has taken them up on that offer.

What's Moving Into the Former Marrow Space in Downtown Rochester
A new sign has appeared outside of the former Marrow space and it says 'Noodle House' with a logo of a bowl with chop sticks. I'm thinking ramen?!
Rochester realtor Bucky Beeman shared a video of the Marrow sign being replaced with the Noodle House sign. In the post he revealed that Noodle House is owned by the same people who run Mango Thai, also in downtown Rochester and actually right down the street from Noodle House.

When I ventured over there to check it out for myself that sign change is the only difference on the outside. There are still some Marrow logos on the windows and the note from the Marrow owners announcing the closing in the window.
I'll be so excited to learn more about this new place and definitely check them out when they open!
