Olmsted County Includes E-Cigs in Workplace Smoking Ban

The Olmsted County Board voted Tuesday to include so-called e- cigarettes in the county’s Smoke Free Workplace ordinance.

The decision means the use of the nicotine delivery devices is prohibited in nearly all businesses and public places throughout the county. The revisions approved Tuesday also cover hookah pipes. Olmsted County enacted the comprehensive smoking ban in 2007.
