Rochester residents will soon have another dining option in the downtown area.
The owners of Our Paladar have just announced an opening date and say their goal is to provide a warm and vibrant environment with delicious locally-sourced food. Learn more about the new restaurant, and check out some pictures.

What Does Our Paladar Mean?!?
Our Paladar is an "ode to Chef Nick’s Cuban family."
On their website, they explain: "A Paladar refers to the chef-run restaurants that first came about in Cuba in the early 1990s. They operated primarily out of family homes and meals would change based on market availability."
Chef Nick started his business the same way by hosting people at his house. His meals became very popular so the pop-ups were moved to Thai Pop and held every Sunday evening in downtown Rochester.
Now, a permanent location will open with regular business hours.
Our Paladar will open on Thursday, August 17th at 20 4th Street SE in Rochester, Minnesota.
The new eatery will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday & Saturday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The restaurant's website has been live for some time now with a September menu posted to tease your tastebuds.
