Remarkable Pawn Stars Celebrity Hanging Out In Rochester And Stewartville
Rochester, Minnesota is the crossroad of a million lives, and some of them are celebrities. Lately, it seems like The Med City has been packed to the gills with celebrity sitings, and this time, it's Mark Hall-Patton, one of my favorite people on Pawn Stars!
Wait, Mark Hall-Patton...In Rochester?
Yep, I was alerted to this while scrolling the Facebooks and saw Aleasha Kreinbring's post...
"Served Mark Hall-Patton from Pawn Stars on History dinner tonight at Canadian Honker!! He’s even nicer and way cooler in person than he is on tv! Super amazing man! He’s in town visiting his family! He let us take multiple photos with him. And he gave a bunch of us his autograph!!"
Being a history buff (former head of the Clark County Historical Society in Las Vegas), he also spent time at the Old River Valley Antique Mall in Stewartville, MN.
Mark Hall-Patton (retired in 2021 as) the Museum Administrator for the Clark County Museum system, where he (oversaw) the Clark County Museum, the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum, and the Searchlight History Museum. Prior to that Mark was Director of the San Luis Obispo County Historical Museum in California. He has worked for both public and private non-profit museums and has consulted with numerous start-up and established museums and museum boards. (Source)
It makes sense he's in town to visit friends. A few days ago he was in Duluth for the opening of Vatican Unveiled.
Vatican Unveiled is the largest papal artifacts collection outside of Rome that will be on display for the second time in Duluth, MN. Join us August 19-21, 2022 for Vatican Unveiled: An Exploration of Legacies (Source)
Welcome to Minnesota, and Rochester / Stewartville, specifically, Mr. Mark Hall-Patton, we're glad to have you hear, and hope you are or did enjoy your stay. Hope you had a slice of Bunnies Coconut Cake and checked out The Sears House in Stewartville.
One Last Thought
I wonder if he thought it was odd Rochester has only one pawn shop, and a chain one at that?
Speaking of history, Rochester's historical depot is up for grabs. It's been a restaurant of one sort or another for decades, keep on with that, or try something new. After all, the price is right.
